Speaking of last man on earth, one of the best Twilight Zone episodes was about a guy that just wanted to be left alone to read books. He wakes up one day to find that everyone on Earth is mysteriously gone, much to his joy. So he goes to the library only to have is glasses fall and break on the ground.

Yeah, the next day he goes to an optometrist office and finds a pair that works for him, but they cut that part out because it hurt the emotional impact of the irony and such

When I was a kid, I sometimes wished I was alone in the world and could do anything I wanted.. like rob a bank. ehm.. and drive a ferrari, or take a tank and shoot stuff. that would be so awesome..
