I never beat Marathon as a kid because I only had the first chapter shareware version on my Performa PowerPC 60Mhz. I've got Aleph One on my laptop with the updated textures and I'm halfway through it, but I've already ruined the story by reading the Marathon Story page. I read it instead of studying for my ACS Organic Chemistry exam (I got the 3rd highest grade anyway, and my roomate got the 4th).

Now, I'm posting here instead of writing a paper for my stupid advanced freshman english class at ASU since my honors english credits from NAU didn't transfer. I can't believe I have to write a five page paper without sources. I mean... what's the point of filling up four sheets of paper with BS anyway?

It has to convince them. Ya cant just hand in 5 pages of random words ya know. What was the paper on anyways?

haha, I ended up writing about my boss at work. She is one of the worst communicators I know. I found out that my personal project was a 15 min video on Sports and Democracy and Baseball in Japanese American Internment Camps only one week before she needed it to go to the Japanese American National Museum in LA. Then, she gets pissed at me for taking Monday off when I haven't worked a Monday in over two months... she "gave" my project to the other two people who were also working on videos, and we only have two computers capable of running video-editing software in the office.

So I basically waited until one person finished, did all my work with actual scissors and tape (cut and paste anyone?), then whipped up the video in the last half of the week just to show her I could do it.

I'm supposed to give her the paper on why she sucks as a boss, but I think I'll just ask her to be more descriptive from now on. I swear, she turns the simplest things into a nightmare. I asked her for some non-copyrighted pictures of the internment camps and she hands me a print out of the "national archives" with 30 tiny pictures on it but no search string or any way to use them at all. She tells me that I need to look into "Mrs. Yamamoto's" transcripts because she talks so much about baseball and sports, then I open the transcript and she says, "I used to talk about baseball and sports with my husband all the time. The end."
