Re: Jump is on the blink
Someone lives in the only town where FiOS is implemented and is bragging. How quaint.
![]() I turned the wireless throughput rate down to limit them. heh |

Re: Jump is on the blink
LOL, I don't have FiOS (it's not available in my area)
Frankly I've heard some people who love it (FL) and others who didn't like it and switched back to cable (PA).I'm just stirring. Nothing better to do since I have all of this extra time from not watching brain-rotting TV like BSG and AI. ![]() |

Home Entertainment: Comcast Compressing HDTV Signals to Fit Three Shows into Two Shows' Bandwidth I'm tempted now to call Comcast and threaten to switch, it's just getting too expensive. Does DirectTV have anything like Free On Demand content? I can watch Top Gear, Mythbusters, Smash Lab, etc. for free On Demand on the weekends when I've got free time...and my wife likes to watch old Horror films and romantic comedies on there as well since there's nothing on during the day. |

Re: Jump is on the blink
No idea. I don't pay for the big packages. As long as I get my local teams on sports and Sci-Fi then I am happy. Sci-Fi is one of the channels they are compressing too much. You don't have that problem with DTV since they have so many channels to play with.
