Yeah, it took 18 of the digitals to equal a traditional 1 panoramic + 4 bitewings (if I recall the terminology correctly), but they said it was safer/better/faster/whatever. I still got to sport the lead blouse. Coolest part is that they'll e-mail you the files if you ask. Makes getting a 2nd opinion a lot easier/cheaper (my 2nd Op guy didn't even charge me for the visit), and it makes for some potential fun in Photoshop.

One of my guys had a pen sized camera he used to do a live broadcast featuring the inside of my mouth on the TV in the corner of the room. He didn't go for my idea about getting one of those gadgets for my wife's OB/GYN practice. *shrug*

teeth + Mt. dew = bad idea ..... i went to the dentist yesterday... it was the first trip in since 2004 before i got the uber depression of d00m... i had no cavities... and now i have 10!?!?!

Just as I hit the teenage years and moved in with my more permissive parent, the convenience stores all started selling quarts of soda for $.49 (.52 with tax). It was nothing at all to run up to the QT (the world's finest convenience stores, for real) for a pack of Now and Laters (sort of taffy with more sugar), a Mt. Dew Squart and 3 hours of Super Mario Brothers for well under 2 bucks.
