mind blowing statistics
Someone my wife recently met works at the place that manufactures gift cards for various national businesses. He said 1/3 of them go unredeemed. That would explain why everyone's selling a plastic gift card these days.
So what do you know that is mind blowing? Please no urban legends from e-mails: "Fw:Fw:Fw:Fw:dood you gotta see this!" I think we all have seen it already (and I suspect that we all have that same aunt who can't resist inflicting her entire InBox on us). |

Re: mind blowing statistics
You guys are officially no fun.
Nashville Metro public schools' graduation rate was under 60% a couple years ago, and is now still under 70%. Meanwhile, 20 miles down the road in Williamson County it's over 90%. |

Re: mind blowing statistics
I was watching Glenn Beck on TV and decided to hit the wiki...so in honor of Al Sharpton's silly comments about Romney and Mormonism, I give you stuff that I as a traditional protestant was surprised to learn (even if it's not all that mind-blowing):
-Mormon bigamy ended over 100 years ago -Mormons didn't allow any black priests until 1978 -it was technically legal to kill Mormons in Missouri until 1976 |
