I have added a new donation plan called Yearly subscribers. It's a work in progress but will add a growing list of benefits to those that choose to donate to the upkeep of JSR. It's set to $10 a year ATM. There is both a recurring and non recurring option so choose the one you want. This was done by request after multiple suggestions to me.

As of right now it offers you the ability to change the user title text below your name in posts. You can upload a larger file for avatars. There are a bunch of other things I added on the fly that elude me right now but I will post more on that later. Hopefully enough of you will use this as a means to gain added benefit and at the same time help us keep up with the growing cost of this site as we approach the release of Jumpgate Evolution.

As stated this is a work in progress so any suggestions, within reason, are encouraged.

Ok, here is a list of benefits to subscribers so far.

1. Can change their user title text
2. A private forum for subscribers only
3. Unlimited attachment uploads
4. 500 private message storage
5. Can set self to invisible mode
6. Can track PM's and deny receipts
7. Can exclude forums from "get new posts"
8. Can post unmoderated calendar events
9. Can delete own calendar events
10. Can see location of users on who's online page.
11. Can upload double the size profile picture and 3 times file size.
12. Can upload an animated avatar
13. 25 percent larger avatar allowed and twice the file size
14. Can upload images for signatures.
15. Signature Image can be up to 200 pix in height
16. Signature image files size 500% larger
17. Signature characters allowed more than double
18. Signature lines unrestricted (don't abuse it)
19. Full BBCODE usage in signatures
20. Can see who left user reputation
21. Will be viewable on the show groups page
22. Can edit or delete their own files and comments in the gallery
23. Maximum file size in gallery doubled
24. No limit on number of photos uploaded to gallery
25. Can use gallery album feature and suggest categories
26. If I can find an artist or raise enough to pay one donators will have a badge displayed by their user name

All in all I think that's a good package for $10 a year to help support this site. I'm sure more benefits will be forthcoming.

That would require a tremendous amount of hacking to vBulletin for something that would be in little demand. Not to mention I would probably have to upgrade my paypal at a cost in order to use the API for multiple applications.

I'm working on an exciting new feature for subscribers and what will be "gold subscriber" that I think many of you will love. I just need to bug around with it to see how it works.
