I'm hesitant to say ditch the triangle. I love the triangle, and to me, it really SHOULD be in there somewhere. If this is a layer thing, and the back is one layer, and the triangle/icon is a layer, and the text is a layer...try increasing the triangle/icon size to that it extends outside of the background layer. Even without a triangle size increase, I think an icon size increase would be pretty cool. |

I like the whole concept of "getting out of the box." If you look around the net, everyone does pretty much the same thing for buttons. Yes they may be fine works of graphic skills, and proven concepts. But I like unique yet with some sort of familiarity towards function. Look cool but be transparent as to what it is for and how to use it.
I like the Send PM, email and reply. I like the idea of something sticking out past the borders, or doing away with the box entirely. The reply triangle is kind of jaged though. |
