I'll be MIA for a bit. Tiger Direct sent me a bunch of shiny things. Installation and gaming must be had. Graphics work will resume once novelty wears off.

My work on this stuff has been put off entirely too long. Given the new influx of users I decided finishing this up might be a good idea. As I'm now running Linux as my primary OS I no longer have Fireworks to do graphics work, but that's no problem because I'm having a love affair with Inkscape. Here's what it's given me so far.

Looks good. Triangle is kind of jagged. Any way to give a little 3D depth to the text and the graphic symbols?

Im not a graphics expert, but perhaps I can do something as well Are those the colors you wish to see? (From what I can see ... blue/orange/black?

In Windows, Fireworks works with png files natively. Inkscape uses a more logical svg file for its vector graphics.

Taking a lot of post-processing to make the triangle less jagged. Not gonna bother moving on until I get at least one of these images to look good.

It looks extra...sharp I think would be the word. Comparing the reply and quote a couple of posts up, I like the way reply looks better. It's still pretty darn nice though.
