As you can see, I redid the whole site them based on the Jumpgate forums theme. I may tweak it from there, but I needed to do something. I wish we had a real graphic artist to create some cool distinct box graphics for us. Too bad crackrat isn't around and available.

Anyway, if you have any ideas or such, feel free.....

I dislike the star background. Makes the site pigeon-holed into space sims. Should reconsider that choice. I liked the brighter default blue, personally.

And what do you mean by distinct box somethingorothers.

By distinct box graphics I mean something to frame the tables and boxes on the front page and forums. To give us our own look, instead of just a VB theme look with colored borders. I'm just no good at creating and slicing graphics of that quality.

oh ok so you mean like rounded corners and stuff? Did you want edit/quote/reply buttons to go with it? If you want I could try to model something after the site logo and make it match.

(Definently looks better without the stars)

Ligher, not brighter. The gray/blue combo that you were using before.

That was the default VB skin which can be seen on 10,000 sites. It had to go.

Here's what I came up with. There's some color bias involved, even though I hate what's there now but I've made so many changes to it in the process of posting this that I'm just giving up. So anyway, any suggestions are welcome. Also the Reply image really annoys me, so any alternative is welcome. (Also, tell me what other buttons you need, since I don't notice any that will not work with the light blue)

The buttons are looking cool. Do you want me to send you the VB graphics kit? It has all the layers for buttons and such. Might be of use to you.

There are alot of buttons. Most of those I can't even open with my outdated PS6.
