So, how's the site been working for you?

I have been doing a ton of little tweaks to the server in the last few weeks to improve resource usage and performance. You may have noticed some restarts while you were browsing. Sorry for the inconvenience if you were.

Has anyone noticed any improvement or degradation in page loads? Just curious to see if any of this work I have been doing is paying off. It's hard for me to tell since the site has always loaded fast for me.

Re: So, how's the site been working for you?

Its feels pretty fast to me, Id even compare at times with how ND forums perform nowadays (and they dont have that much eye candy).

yes, it seems a bit faster for me. I never noticed this site running slow in any way before, but it does seem snappier now.

I'm still going to need to get more memory soon. But I seem to be using less now that I have done all these things.

Re: So, how's the site been working for you?

I'm not a good barometer. I do most of my surfing from work and because of our firewall and software restrictions, I have all kinds of problems with JSR.

Re: So, how's the site been working for you?

Not much I can do about your boss messing with you. They must have the term "Jump" blocked which would cause a lot of trouble viewing this site.

I'm still doing things little by little so if you guys ever catch the site while I reboot or dare I say, break it, I apologize.

I'm getting popups for a password for "protected" folder from joystickrequired.com when I try to view threads.

Jump, the site is RUNNING SO MUCH better under Opera...! Opera has went through several versions but this site runs like a charm versus all the crap I had to go thru (hence my return)...

Good job bro.

From home things work fine -- I tested last night. From work, I suspect it's some of your cool programming things that our corporate browser thinks are malicious. It tends not to like anything that is not straight HTML.
