It should be even faster now. I added datastore caching to xcache. What that means is that all the datastore items that vBulletin uses for every page load are now cached in memory using xcache's variable caching. So not only does xcache cache the scripts. Now it caches common database queries thus eliminating several queries from every page load.
There does seem to be a bug with xcache though. I need to find someone that can do the patch for me. C is not my thing. Once that is fixed a lot more of the scripts will be cached as well.
Meanwhile, it's still quite around here.
