Now, let it be said that I am not a vegetarian. I try to avoid hamburger and hotdogs, particularly hot dogs, but I like steak and I like chicken. That being said, one thing that I've learned since living in Portland and being exposed to some vegetarian food is that vegetarians try really really hard to make their food taste good.

It makes sense in a way, because chicken is GOOD, and bacon is GOOD, and steak is GOOD, so when we make food slapping meat in there is enough to make the food good. Those poor tofu people though, they've got to get creative. I swear that the best pizza I've ever eaten was a vegetarian pizza, and I have no idea what exactly was on it, but it was awesome. I'm thinking maybe artichokes.

So, don't shun vegetarian food for it's lack of meat, some of it's still good.

I do my best to never eat vegetables. They have no capability to defend themselves from predators, unlike cows and chickens, which have horns and a minimal ability to fly respectively. Now, if vegetables had turrets on the other hand, then I would eat more of them!

Years ago when I was in Israel I ate a lot of vegetarian Pizza since that's the only way I could get it with cheese. At least when I could find pizza. Since then I am not too thrilled by it.
