While you're waiting for SP1 here is some goodness from Microsoft to help ease the pain. I used the beta for this already and it does fix a lot of Vista issues. Make sure you download the proper file for your system wither it's x86 or x64 as they say. If you installed the beta last week make sure you uninstall it first.
