Yeah it happened to me too. The networking had the same positive effect with ancients coming out of the woodwork like you mentioned, for me as well (admittedly, when I joined Myspace). Then it was cool to pretend Myspace wasn't cool and to be from Facebook. Then it became cool to Twitter where I draw the line - one has to severely abbreviate and be concise to a ridiculous degree to sum up any complex thought in like twelve characters, like a caveman/Yoda hybrid, or a struggling superhero under duress. This very reply would be about thirty-two tweets.
