Aside of Regan, Kiadevil and my buddies at StormRaiders.... I dont think the rest would know that Im a Nascar Fan. Well, as I was trolling the official Nascar site I came upon this, and so I thought it might be handy to some here.

Of course, Nascar drivers use slicks....

With a full out slick you'll get wear dimples instead of wear bars.* Those are always fun

Even at 2/32 (the min legal) you'll be out a decent amount of wet traction.

*Not to suggest the NASCAR guys even bother with those. But for any team/person that doesn't go through tires with the insanity of a NASCAR team...

I just use the wear bars. They are set at the legal limit, if the tread is at the bar, the tire won't pass inspection, so its time to replace them.

Thats why I get the cheapest tires I can for my car (about 120 each) because I don't want to hear the sound of change burning away when I do burnouts

LOL You mean they actually do that kind of test/check where you live?

Here... even if your car doesnt pass the emissions test.. it will.

I buy expensive tires because I'm a glutton for punishment, and my car doesn't have enough juice to do a real burnout anyway
