I looked at the POS lister today and decided one thing is certain. It's freaken ugly. A holdover of my early days of experimenting with graphics. It flows like crap in a fan. So, expect something new around the corner.

I have settled on a new look. I think it looks cool. Better organized flow of the data. Just need to make it work in crappy IE. Then code the back end.


Now is the time to get your suggestions, complaints in.

My second tester found a visual anomaly not reported by the first, and non duplicated by me. I'll need another tester.

Jump, I'm sorry but it still looks the same. It's still all in the lower 2/3 of the screen in IE and it takes a lot of scrolling to see anything. It's not impossible; just less convenient than the original version. I still like the colored astrix to indicate public/squad/private though.

That's the old ugly one bud. You haven't seen the new one. Only two people have seen the new one. It's going to be far more advanced and will probably not be out for public beta for a couple weeks yet. If not longer than that.

The beta 3.0 one is pretty damn nice Jump. The one thing I would like to see, though, would be the ability to sort the sectors by faction as well as alphabetically. All the sols together, Octs, etc... Just something I noticed. Another thing that might be neat, though a pain in the butt, would be a column showing the % markup of the station...allowing the pilot to see who has the better deals.


BTW, I LOVE the pilot stat tracker thingy....that is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
