Jump, could you come up with a fast way to ascertain or check POS listings to determine 1) public/squad/private status of POS and 2) facilities enabled (Ore Silo, Market, R/R/R, etc)... all without having to pull up each individual POS listing? Probably limit to the sector search (if you're not IN that sector, then it doesn't much matter what POS are there or what they have in them).

Perhaps just a button on the POS lister tool that would sort by Public/Squad/Private if nothing else. That would cut down on the searching needed (no need to check a squad or private station if I'm not the station owner or part of his squad).

This of course is related to my mining activies in as they relate to the new economy. I'd prefer to refine my ore away from a Faction Station so as to have more control of the output or commodities.

Okay Jump, I guess I'm just an idiot but I can't get the desired info. I go to POS search and it does color code the POS by public/squad/private but it doesn't show whether it has an Ore Silo or R/R/R (stuff that a non-squad member would be interested in). It only shows if that particular POS has whatever item you searched for. I checked the POS lister and it color codes by faction space and whether there are any stations in the sector (red for none; green for any).

Am I doing it wrong or did you misunderstand what I wanted? I want to be able to go to a sector-by-sector listing of POS and see at a glance if a station is Public/Squad/Private access and whether it has an Ore Silo and/or R/R/R (or any part thereof).

I understand from your post on the "Merge Tools" thread that you are no longer intersted in tool creation/modification and while I hate to hear that, I'm tickled that you made as many really good and useful tools as you have. I can certainly get by on the tools you have already provided and I appreciate what you have done. I'm just ignorant, greedy and lazy. Thanks anyway.

Jump, thank you. I just used the POS lister and discovered the colored (word for the multiplier key symbol.. can't find the right word..sounds like astericts)..which tells me public (green) squad (yellow) and private (red). Makes searching SO much easier!


Now if Istvan would color the stations in-game.....
