Octavius Core (TRI-FP) - Octavian officials have expressed
concern over the recent increase in sentient activity, after a long period of
relative calm, as the target of the activity appears to be several buildings in
Octavian space.
"The last several days have seen multiple conflux incursions into Empire
territory," stated Dr Aulus Calatorius.
"These incursions appear to show the conflux have an interest in the Dragon
and Roc naval yards, as well as the Maul producer. Analysis of their attack
patterns* indicates that the sentient conflux seen in recent days have used
the anomaly in Mokk's Battlefield to arrive in Empire space. They have also
shown an uncanny knack of avoiding sectors with tuned beacons, thus allowing
them to arrive at their destination completely undetected, until the last
moment.


"Further analysis of historical data indicates these 'lightweight'
attacks are likely a prelude to a much larger assault against one of these three
structures, although, at this time, we are uncertain which is the primary
target."


The Octavian Ministry of War has issued a statement requiring all Octavian
pilots to be on high alert, and to keep beacons tuned within Octavian space.
