TRI HQ (TRI-FP) - With the budget complete and accounted
for, New Dawn pilot LupinOne has announced that project Operation Nutcracker is
online, and ready to go.
"On 105.11.24, I announced plans for Operation Nutcracker, a dedicated mission to destroy the Conflux Command and Control network in key sectors of their home space. During the course of several high-level meetings and intelligence briefs subsequent to that initial announcement, the Octavian Ministry of War made public on 106.01.04 that the Conflux Command Code had been cracked.*



"We now had the tools to take the fight to the conflux instead of being reactionary. With the new alerting system, pilots could now mount Alpha Strikes deep into Conflux Space and destroy the Conflux Command Center before the Sentients could launch their strike against us, thus preventing the attack and keeping TRI and factional assets safe.*



"Thanks to the generosity of certain squads and pilots, Operation Nutcracker is now fully funded and operational.*



"I would specifically like to thank Squads Brotherhood and OMC, pilots Nohbody, GrimGriz, Istanbul, Algore, Odd_Jobs, and Waarthog for donating squad or personal funds to establish a dedicated defense system and operations center for combating Sentient Conflux attacks. With final contributions from the New Dawn operations budget to make up the final amounts, we are now ready to implement the plan.*



"New Dawn remains committed to ensuring the defense of all factions and TRI as a whole. With the excellent support and assistance of the Octavian Ministry of War, as well as the leadership continually demonstrated by Dr. Calatorius, Operation Nutcracker is certain to be a success.*



"Further information on Operation Nutcracker will be released as appropriate."

Dr Calatorius, from the Octavian Ministry of
War, seemed pleased.

"Earlier today, the final funds for Operation Nutcracker were authorized
for release into the Nutcracker escrow account," stated Calatorius.
"Looking at the list of those who donated to the project, I am personally
pleased to see that this project has managed to bridge the gap between local
enemies, and help focus attention back onto our common threat, the conflux.

"Actions always speak louder than words, and while other pilots and
squads may have loud mouths, spouting worthless rhetoric, LupinOne, the pilots
of New Dawn, and all those who have offered up their time and money to this
project should be seen as a credit to TRI, and all that we jointly stand for.

"It is my fervent hope that this example will encourage others to rise
above the petty bickering that has consumed so many of late."
