HYPERIAL (TRI-FP) - Simultaneous dawn raids by Hyperial
security forces against several PSI planetside and station offices as well as
executive homes and properties has resulted in the arrests of over 20 PSI
employees, and thwarted a major terrorist attack against Hyperial and Solrain
assets.
"Following credible information provided to us from pilots and corporate
entities, we were able to piece together a trail which ultimately was destined
to lead to a major attack," remarked Speaker Graham Talut.
"We have verified, concrete information that PSI was being used as a front
for multiple terrorist activities, including links with the Octavian group
Phoenix Rising.

"The attack that was thwarted by the combined efforts of pilots and
other corporations working together would have, if it had succeeded, resulted in
the detonation of nuclear devices on Hypsos, as well as several Solrain planets.

"Further information provided to us implicates several TRI pilots in
aiding this attack. We have strong reason to believe that Octavian pilot
InterOrka was key to the manufacture of the deadly plutonium needed for making
the bombs, and may even be a member of Phoenix Rising. In addition, Solrain
pilot Mugshot has been identified as the primary delivery pilot, responsible for
ensuring the materials reached their final destinations"

The STCC was quick to respond.

"We are thankful for the assistance of the Hyperial government and those
who worked to prevent this attack against our citizens," commented Minister
Ferrix Charyb. "We are, of course, disappointed of the possibility
that one of our own would work so directly against us, but we must tread
carefully, and not jump to conclusions. The pilots in question, as well as
others, will be fully investigated, and appropriate responses will be taken at
the appropriate time."

The only official willing to comment from the Octavian government was J'on Tin,
who's response to our request was, "Who cares? Nuke em all!".
