Solrain Core (TRI-FP) - The STCC has announced a new
initiative to identify the fate of the planet Solrain, contact with which was
lost after the Great Collapse.
"Communication with the great databases on Solrain was all but lost
after the Great Collapse," stated Minister Aljia Keval
. "Ever since, we have been able to detect a weak carrier signal, that we
believe to emanate from this great planet. Unfortunately, our current technology
does not permit us to decipher this signal, nor identify its origin.

"This project will take time, and effort, and is multi-phased. In the
first phase, it is our hope, that by collecting pre collapse datadisks from
Solrain space, the key to unlocking the carrier signal may be identified, which
in turn will provide additional information to permit a move to phase II -
identifying the source of the signal.

"Our first objective is to hire a project director for Phase I, who will
work closely with the STCC to organize DSS hunts throughout Solrain space in an
organized fashion. It is our hope to recruit to this position from the ranks of
TRI pilots."
