Did you read his page. He put up a modder section to mod games to work. COD and Crysis already work.

well.. yeah.. if you call that 'work'.. i mean, all that distortion and such.. i get dizzy watching modern games just on a regular monitor. That would make my aged head spin till it fell off

I figure that a game that's designed to work with it would find a way around all that distortion, and have more of a 'real life' perception ratio on the edges. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it isn't nifty, just that it's not for me.

I bet one could do some cool astronomy classes with a classroom full of those, though.

The distortion is because you are looking through a camera which has no peripheral vision. The point of it is that if I am playing Call of Duty 4 and some little punk is sneaking around a corner then I will detect it in my periphery and turn to shoot the sucker. So it's not about clarity it's about periphery.

As it is now, playing against guys with multiple monitors is a pain. This would make me a royal pain.
