4 years time for a new stick

I bought a 3d cyborg usb gold stick when I was let into beta 6 for Jumpgate. I love that stick but it is finally crapping out. I am also playing aces high. I loked into the hotas from thrustmaster and the x50 thing from Saitek. I almost went with the x50 thingy, just because of my cyborg stick but... I am buying a ch fighter stick with the rudder pedals. Supposedly it comes with software to program it.

It arrives this next week sometime. does anybody know about these sticks and the software?

I know they exist. Beyond that, not much. Hope that helps

I have used both the X45 and the X52 - like the X52 more than the X45 - my only problem with it is the throttle is not always recognized

I bought the X45 just because it HAS the rocker paddle. Ive been flying with the Thrustmaster AB2 for years and I love using rocker for rudder/Jumpgate roll.

I just cant deal with twist sticks and I cant justify buying a X52+pedals.

Yeah, I was disapointed when I saw the twist on the X52. Maybe they will hear our cries and make an X55 with twist.

I see the X52 we have listed on the front page is down to $100.

I've got the CH Flight Sim Yoke and rudder pedals.. I really want the throttle quadrant as well... They're pretty darned sensitive, but for plastic sim sticks they're pretty darned good...

Some old programs don't take very well to the mapped sets, but I've only had real problem when trying to use the set to control MW4... MW4 is from the era of only accepting a certain number of total axes/buttons...

They work great with anything modern... The fighter stick looks really good.... I'm not sure how I'd set up the system though to play Jumpgate. In a real plane, you'd set the pedals to control yaw, but since the really necessary flight controls in Jumpgate are pitch and yaw, I might just set it up arcade style so that pushing the stick left/right would turn me left and right.. then maybe control the roll with the pedals.. blah..

you won't be disappointed with CH though.. great stuff. download the new version of the software off their site..
