Until I can get a hold of another FF2 to replace it, I bought a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro as a backup. It's not a bad stick out of the box, has some weight to it, but I won't give any concrete opinions on it until/unless I put it through some abuse first. All that being said, in Jumpgate PvP, the most important aspect of a joystick isn't the X or Y axis, it's the throttle. ![]() |

Re: Brand new X52 - Small Y Axis drift
"The two systems share quite a bit in common with each other, but the Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System takes the X52 to the next level. The biggest addition is the MFD that can display information directly from your game, such as radio stack info in Flight Simulator X.The illumination color can be changed from red, amber or green colors and the throttle illumination varies depending on throttle position."

Re: Brand new X52 - Small Y Axis drift
Ive used the X-36, X-45, and the X-52
while they work, they are great. They just dont last that long. But then I used to fly WWII fighter sims 2-4 hours a night, almost every night. Not only drifting problems, also throttles stick on. |
