FF2 Prices Dropping

Wow, I was just looking at Amazon and the used FF2 prices are around $100. What's up with this, they were selling up closer to $200 for a while. Do they, perchance, have a problem with Vista?

No, they just aren't selling. Just like everything else in this depression we are in.

Not exactly. Consumer spending has been down because of inflation, not recession (depression is not nearly in the picture yet). Most of the inflationary pressure was caused by the rise in oil futures -- which has donr a big reverse in recent weeks.

But back to the point -- has anyone successfully used an FF2 with Vista?

It works fine with Vista. You just can't use the software to calibrate the FF but no one uses it for that anyway.

I have about 4 FF2's now. I had to stop buying them as it was getting worse than my crack habit. Even got one for a wedding present.

Not to stay off topic or anything, but that is not true. The price for a barrel has come down a little, but they are still making record profits at the pump.

I didn't say they were low, I said they were dropping fast -- which is the case.

I'm going to have to look in to this... I was never able to get my FF Pro's Force Feedback to work properly in XP. The default setting's "virtual spring" was WAYY to high and the homebrew drivers didn't let you change its setting.

Unless there's been an improvement on that front... (I like my FF Pro's button config better than the FF2 so I'd prefer to use it...)
