Silicon spray is good. Could try to just goo-gone it first and see if that takes care of it without additional lubricants (that could theoretically damage another component, speaking without doing any research on the internals of the X45 whatsoever)

Candle wax is what I used to use, however, if you feel like doing a little bit of fiddling.....I took the bottom of an aluminium can(Budwieser 16oz I believe) cut a hole dead center(9/16") and a slot leading to the hole in the center.
Beat it to fit...paint it to match. I've never had to lube it since. |
