Re: So you think your flight system is uber do you?
This is old
well, is new for a UK fella, but there was a US guy that had one too and that was like 2 or 3 years ago. The FAA gave them the sign of aproval for the 737 simulator... without movement of course, but everything else was 'real'. Of course, it also helps that these guys usually work as pilots and such.BTW, havent read the article yet, but can you say EPIC? Its the best way to create custom controllers, you need to be crafty but at the end of the day, is very satisfying. I have a gazillion of pics of simbuilding and cockpits in general. One day.. I'll have mine. ELP |

Re: So you think your flight system is uber do you?
BTW, the US guy had 3 projectors doing the front views and instead of making the cockpit out of wood, he actually bought the cabin from a decomissioned plane (without anything inside).
Havent seen his site in a long time, but if ur interested I'll dig and put somewhere all the links I had, for F16 cockpits to 737's and such. I remember that there was a guy that invented a presurized flight suit for his sim. The moment you tried a high G manuever.. the suit would fill up with air and make it hard on you to breath and such (but wont kill you doh). ELP ELP |

Re: So you think your flight system is uber do you?
Ok, I've ordered to the best of my abilities (and the morning syndrome, though is near 2pm lol) and I've eliminated those links that had 404s. The one on Frugals site (another discussion site) is a discussion (doh) about the PI Engineering's product X-Key, the prior link.
Im sure I have more stuff hidden somewhere, and I also have the plans for another thing is not posted here but that I talked about some time ago, my own personal project for a closed cockpit. My idea was for Jumpgate, simple design... but I'll talk about it again later, when I get the 'musa' going again. Hope you like it as much as I did... Hardware: R&R Electronics Flight Link, Inc.
