i had an AllinWonder for a while and the drivers sucked ass. I switched to a GeForce about a year later and never looked back.

We dumped ATI a while ago. After having a huge failure rate, some of them Quadro's, we decided to stay away from them. Nothing like burning through a stack of $2500 video cards to really tick off a boss.

ATI might get better now that they have been acquired by AMD, but Im not going to be holding my breath. Their driver support has been bad for YEARS, the last great ATI card I had was a Rage 128 w/ 16MB RAM.

nVidia has a solid programmer base making damn good drivers for their hardware. Bottom line is you can have the best card designers in the business, but if your programmers aren't getting out of it what they need to, you have a crappy product.
