About This Page About This Page: This is a discussion on Powrecolor Radeon 9600XT within the GPU's forums, part of the PC Video Game Hardware Discussion category, at Joystick Required Forums. Anybody had any experience with one of these. I should be getting mine tomorrow. I heard Jumpgate doesn't play nice with ATI sometimes.

I have radeon 9600 xt but made by ati. And that was the last time I bought ati.

I have a sapphire 9600XT... It works well enough for what I use it for, but newer games (like the F.E.A.R. beta I was involved with) tend to be a bit sluggish.

Hey gold! I have to come here to answer your tech questions? :P

I have a 9600xt from asus. Works great! There are alot better cards out now for almost the same money... but sometimes you can get good deals on older cards too.

Works great in every game i have... which is a wide variaty. Jumpgates used to "flicker", but a patch or 2 ago that seemed to have been fixed.

Only other piece of advice it to make sure you turn off AGP fast writes. I had some games lockup on me until i disabled that in my bios.

I have a ati 9600 256Mbyte gcard and am curious as to what catalyst drivers other ati card users use. The last time I upgraded them was about 1.5years ago and I ended up rolling them back because Jumpgate went T/U on me.
