Microsoft has been blamed for a lot of the problems with Sli/Crossfire in Vista. I guess they are finally working on fixing it. Hopefullly by the time I can afford a second card.

I wonder if they'll bother fixing it for XP as well....if not, no need for a second card for me. I'm trying to avoid Vista like the plague. For clarity's sake: if I were to find someone with the plague, I would definitely avoid him or her.

Nah, Vista is working great with all the resent patches. SLI is the only thing that's really a problem still. I play all the games I want to play just fine.

I look at it more that I don't NEED to upgrade, XP works fine and does everything I want it to. Vista would be pointless for me, espically considering all the "dumbing down" they did to make it more difficult to install and use programs....Because people refuse to learn how to not click on random links, use virus scanners, or open attachments on e-mail from people they don't know.

I'd still like to see this upgrade be applied in the new XP service pack too.....

I don't know, something about an OS phoning home every one in awhile to make sure its still legit really pisses me off.

So thats why I pirate XP and will never upgrade to vista. Yet I paid for the Family Pack of OSX (5 license, 2 of which I'm using).
