This is something I would love to have. Can you imagine playing Jumpgate or other games on that thing? I imagine it will cost several thousand dollars though.

As you can see in that picture the prototype model is not without fault, there are obvious lines in the display.

Did you not read the article? They said there will be no seems when it's released. Yes it is not new but it is great to see competition in this niche market. It can only mean prices go down a bit.

I guess my arguement is the whole DLP/Plasma versus LCD one.

I'd much rather have an LCD device, especially like something I posted just now. I mean how freaking cool is that, 3 LCDs "glued" together.

And yes, I understood the post was along the whole "how freaking cool is this" idea, and I agree, its freaking cool, just not for me

I soon get to play with the 83" widescreen projector, should arrive in a week or so. Im still deciding if I'll use it as a secondary display and leave my LCD at one side so I dont have to use the projector all the time, not an issue with movies and such but with games, not all games like to play on the secondary monitor....
