Beware The Construction Zone Ahead.
I will be doing some construction on improvements in the near future, very near and not so near. So don't be alarmed if you show up and the site is temporarily in sleep mode. All down time should be minimal and you can return to your lurking and trolling.

Well the first stage of construction has been put on hold due to an incomapatability issue. It has several server admins stumped. How does something work on one site, but not on another? On the same server! Anyway, hopefully it get's worked out.
I have a friend that is helping work on a new style. She is very talented with graphics and vBulletin styling. Hopefully, that will turn out good. I am going to eliminate the whole concept of a seperate style for the Jumpgate forums. Too complicated and confusing. I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes up with. This years changes are going to cost me some serious cash. So feel free to donate. ![]() |

The early views of the new style progress are quite impressive. I think you lurkers will be quite impressed when all is done. We have never had a unique custom style.
On another note. A person has given me the code for a custom made vBulletin CMS. It's mine to package, improve and release. It is quite nice and will give us the oportunity to make the front page look like a real website instead of rows of modules lined up. We'll see where that goes. And again, I will put out that JSR is in need of staff. We need moderators and content writers. If interested then PM me. |
