NetDevil anounces Billing System For EU Jumpgate Players.
As posted by Istvan on JOSSH Forums.
Billing Signup Available for Transferred EU Accounts Billing signup for all transferred accounts is finally available. There is now a banner link on the JOSSH front page for billing signup. After entering your username and password, you will connect to our billing provider's site. You will then be offered the choice of creditcard or non-creditcard billing. In addition to credit card payments, Internet Payment Solutions, our billing provider, supports seventeen methods of non-creditcard payment through their "PayByCash" service.
Regardless of when you sign up, billing is not scheduled to begin for transferred accounts until 1 August.
Please be aware that during early August, the billing team and I will conduct an audit, and all accounts which are not listed in the billing system at that time will be rendered inactive.
I'm very hopeful that many customers who have joined us from Europe will seriously consider continuing to play Jumpgate on the worldwide server. I have begun recruiting additional testers specifically from the former EU community, whom I hope will give me a more complete understanding of what our European players were accustomed to. Additionally, many changes to Jumpgate supporting PvP and making the flux more interesting have been planned for this year, though clearly I need to spend further time adjusting the game economy during the next few weeks, to handle the changed demands of a larger community.
Due to the nature of NetDevil's relationship with our former partner, Mightygames, continuing development of Jumpgate was only previously supported by the former US community. If you are a former EU player deciding whether to subscribe to the worldwide server, I implore you to do so. Your support of the game is important not just so that Jumpgate can continue to be changed to meet the community's needs, but the real possibility exists that development could now be accelerated by the creation of the worldwide server. I hope you will stay with us as we begin an exciting and positive new era in Jumpgate's history.
