With the advent of Jumpgate Evolution on the horizon it's time to update all the tools at JSR. To start off this project we have completely re-written the POS Lister from graphics to back-end code. Some new features have been added as well.

One of these new features is the default station option. When viewing a station you may choose to click the button that says "make station default" in the station tools window. This will store the station in a cookie so that it will load up whenever you open the POS Lister. You can change the default station at any time by simply clicking the button again when viewing a different station. A nice feature for you station owners out there. Not only will the POS Lister open to your station but you can go back to that station at any time simply by clicking it's link in the default station window.

In addition to the default station feature, you have the option of setting up to 10 quick link stations. When viewing any station simply click the "make quick link" button in station tools and it will be added to your quick link list. This makes up to 10 stations instantly viewable at the click of the mouse. This should come in handy for squads, though anyone can enjoy this feature. When viewing a station that is currently a quick link the button will change to a delete button should you wish to remove it to add another.

This new version is fully integrated with vBulletin so many compatibility and browser issues are handled by it. Also, when I turn on the registration restriction there will be no more annoying redirect to the registration screen when things go wrong.

I may do some code refactoring behind the scenes as time permits but it is essentially complete. This has been thouroughly tested on Firefox 2.0 and IE 7 (MS removed the restrictions so all XP users can get IE 7 now). Should you have any troubles with any other browser feel free to let us know.

A big thanks to Wild_Bill and Elpirata for testing and giving me useful and encouraging feedback. Hopefully this will adapt to Jumpgate Evolution with little effort when the time comes.

Dude, that kicks POS Lister II's ass. While I don't think I ever saw POS Lister I, I'm sure it's at home, in the fetal position, and crying.

Default is a great addition. "Add to Quicklinks" button doesn't seem to be working, but seems like that will also be quite handy...

...assuming Jumpgate Evolution has POSes. I hope it does, but I hope you can't /home them and I hope it takes about 30 seconds of near immobility to dock.

Quick link should work as long as you accept cookies from JSR. They're chocolate chip by the way.


Come to think of it, I can't even remember what POS Lister I looked like.


EDIT: OH, all the station tools work on whatever station you are viewing. So when viewing a station it should give you the add quick link button.

I discovered a bug tonight. What to do when a station is no longer published for whatever reason. I fixed it for the quick links. I still need to work it out for the default station though.

oopsie, I forgot to decode entities in the new script so stations with & were not displaying. All fixed now.
