I'd be happy if we just got representatives of other joystick-game communities having discussions here too. Like the WC people, or the arvoch conflict people, etc. Failing that, anything that provides more competition in the arcade is cool.

I say open it up to others. I doubt I'm alone in shifting from one genre to another from time to time. Would be nice to not have to shift from site to site as well.

oh something I forgot to say Jump, keep the name "Joystick Required". Its the catch phrase you mention I have come to know this place as and knowing it by anything else, just doesnt seem fittin'. If you do decide to change it, I'll eventualy get used to it, but it was a question you asked I didnt adress.

I have invested a lot of money in the name Joystick Required. It's not going anywhere. Look at all the sites out there that have the word joystick and have nothing to do with gaming. At least this one does.

It's a catch phrase plus it sounds nice.

Voted the second option. I have a joystick and/or gamepad plugged in at all times. I played EVE for like, oh a week and was bored rigid. But other people like it so let em in! More Jumpgate recruits?

sure the more the merrier. i play WOW EQ and SWG off and on. i even pull out my old XWing vs TIE Fighter sometimes(wish theyd make a new version of that)

You could expand into racing as well, those hard core racers do have wheel/pedals sets and some go as far to even have a racing seat.

But yeah, I dont think Id be mad if your site were to change a bit, in my heard, I would prefer controller required at least (whatever that be), if it were to change to mouserequired for example... I would restrict myself to the Jumpgate section
