A new promotional video trailer for stage 2 of the graphics enhancement update for Evochron Alliance 2.0 is now available for download. The video features some of the new ships, plantery descent effects, textures, gameplay options, and environment graphics. Stage 2 is currently in beta and should be available in the next few weeks. It will be free to players who purchased an older version of the game. The video is available in two formats, a medium quality WMV and a high quality AVI:

It gets my vote, its a good game played as both Single player and Multiplayer, with a dedicated server download so you can host your own galaxy. Also it has some very interesting concepts like planetary mining, combat in and out of atmospheres, black hole gravity wells you can use to trap your enemies, crew management and so much more.

And the guy developing it is spot on helpfull and open to discuss any ideas that could be used to improve the game with each release.

Adding your own ship models and creating your own systems too is not only possible but very easy.

Well worth the time to download and investigate.
