Today in a press release by Derek Smart, he announced an add-on for Universal Combat, entitled "Universal Combat – A World Apart." Here's a blurb from the release:

We are pleased to announce “Universal Combat – A World Apart”, an add-on to the original Universal Combat title released in February 2004 by Dreamcatcher Games. This add-on gives the hardcore Battlecruiser fan base a new advanced “Battlecruiser” type game using newer and more advanced technologies featured in our 2005 games such as “Universal Combat – Hostile Intent” (our pure action focused offering) and “Galactic Command Online”, our pay-for-play MMO game due out in public Beta between last 2005 and early 2006.
