We're tentatively shooting for a number of major feature additions in this version, including:

- Cargo items and ship cargo space is being reworked. Cargo will have mass which is added to the mass of the ship in which it is being transported. In other words, a heavily laden cargo vessel will have significantly worse maneuverability and acceleration than an unladen vessel of the same type. Capacities for ships are also being restructured. The universe economy may require some adjustment for this.

- Repair addon (Large Port) for heavy ship. This should permit heavy ships to act in a supportive role under grouping conditions. A ship equipped with a repair addon will be able to repair others, but not themselves. The amount of repair per shot and exact structure of the repair-addon is still in flux, but it will probably be ammo based.

- Nation trade conflict. This is an Itani/Serco conflict which will be, at least for the moment, located in unaligned Neutral space. Automated cargo convoys will carry valuable ores from this space back to their respective Serco and Itani homeworlds. The number of ore runs that reach the respective destinations will be recorded and accrued on the website, where on a weekly basis they will be noted along with the pilots (and, potentially, guilds) involved in the conflicts. Over time, if one nation consistently finds themselves cut off from these resources, there may be a negative impact within their space (increase on price of derived items), along with accompanying storyline addendum and more far-reaching repercussions.

Aside from this, there will also be a variety of bugfixes and other excitement. Some small changes here and there. We may also be doing some automated stress testing this week, don't be alarmed if you see a large number of bots behaving rather strangely. Thanks for playing, and keep watching as things progress!
