Welcome EU Jumpgate Players

At least those of you that will choose to remain with Jumpgate through the US server. I speak in regards to this message from Mighty Games.
We are sorry to announce to our customers today that on June 30th of 2005, the operation of Mightygames and all its respective services will be shut down permanently. After over three years as a stable and successful Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game on the market, the Jumpgate license Mightygames held for the european market has run out.
All currently active subscriptions will receive a cancellation notification by Email. The last subscription fee for the month of June will be charged on May 31st. Subscriptions with billing dates of June 1st and later will not be billed. Thus, no subscription will have paid for a playing time of less than one full calendar month.

We wish to thank all players for the exciting and interesting years of Jumpgate EU and wish you all lots of fun in its remaining time.

All the best,
Your Mightygames team.

I'm sure this disappoints many of you dedicated EU pilots. But time will tell if it is a good or bad situation.

Wow. I hope Themis quickly comes up with a plan to attract these players over here.

Why would it mean that. It may very well be what saves Jumpgate. Let's face it, MG may be a good publisher, but they don't develop the game. If many of the EU players come to US it will mean more direct revenue for development.

Interesting...very interesting.

Amb, you may be asking too much.

It would spell a great potential for Jumpgate again if we can get just 10% of the EU pilots to come over here. Not only would it help some of the primetime numbers, but it would help to fill space more at the non-primetime US times as well. Perhaps that would help the powers that be in their decision to add some GM-esk help at off times.

Point them here, since unlike Mightygames, JOSSH US doesn't allow non acount posting.
