How about a community system on Jossh, similar to facebook/myspace

You can upload screenshots, add friends (thats show up in game), add enemies (that show up in game), put shouts out on people's pages, share your RP, stuff like that?

What do ya'll think, would this be pretty cool and helpfull, or a waste of coding time?

Waste of coding time for a small dev team. People play so many different games these days.

I have thought of doing that with member profiles here but like so many things before I figure no one would use it.

Yeah, thats kind of what I thought, I just think it would be nice to have an easy way to add friend's and enemies on a jossh page that would reflect in game.

They'd be better off trying to get the social networking sites to add a widget that would perform that functionality so that your myspace would reference Jumpgate Evolution. If said widget had your in-game effect, that'd be bonus.

I'm sure someone can write a facebook app for that... Maybe Jumpgate Evolution will have some sort of SDK for the rest...

Its a pipe dream, but I'd like to be able to see pilot info and mark them in game somehow.

I like this concept, but realistically it seems more likely as a third-party app than a JOSSH feature.
