Station Production Database II
I'm starting a new thread because I posted in the other and it didn't show up. Must have been a glitch.

So G, is that ore report accurate? I will look at it today sometime.
Here is that link from the other thread. I am still looking for feedback on showing the stock with the item name. As far as your question in the other thread about why close them at all G. It's about screen real estate. If I left them open someone would complain about having to scroll the frame to see the whole thing. There would be a lot of cool things I could do if I knew that everyone had a 62" monitor. Unfortunately..... |

Well, I still make the argument that they can choose to close it themselves if they have a smaller monitor, and that it's worthwhile for them to have that hassle to grant them the ability to compare items.
I really like the stock numbers, but I think a slightly different color to help them stand out would be cool. When I click on an item is it supposed to open a new window? I heard you mentioning frames..... As far as I know the ore report is still accurate, unless there have been undocumented changes. For the 3rd frame, I'd recommend the mining ratios for the mined commods. For second tier commods imported or domestic, I'd like to see quantities of ingredients at producing stations for that item. Perhaps with the exception of commodities, I still wish all the folders under ingredients would be open by default. |

Evo is looking at the folder under ingredients thing. While I find js useful, I still don't know much about it.
Clicking on an item will send that item name to the third frame. Notice when you click it gives you a page with that item name. That is just a test. It opens a new window because it can't find the frame, as it doesn't exist. If you would like to see my ugly three frame early concept test version, PM me. |
