From as early as 8 pm Ekoo's Time to Midnight Ekoo's, there was a spontaneous event in the TRI galaxy. Orchestrated by rt-mus and RedDwarf with the assistance of some TRI liasons, a hunt and rip event starring the Jumpgate Pirate Radio flyer -JPR- had the space lanes all atwitter.

The event was based on the premise that if -JPR- made it to it's destination the hamster dance would be deleted from the Jumpgate Pirate Radio playlist. The object was to down the -JPR- ship, for which pilots were rewarded 10 million credits and interestingly named medals (that strongly resemble Tache Crests on their pilot page).

A reward or punishment, depending on your taste in music, also accompanied each downing of -JPR-. Jumpgate Pirate Radio listeners were subjected to the song 'the hamster dance' every time -JPR- took a pod ride. This initially caused some pilots to fly to the aid of -JPR- in attempts to prevent the playing of the song. They eventually gave up the escort gig, and one of the escorts even downed -JPR-.

Great fun was had by some, and frustration was had by others. rt-mus and RedDwarf were awarded Echoes of Hope for their role in the event.
