Just have no money to upgrade. I was hoping to do something this year but I have to pay for this server and related costs. Maybe next year. I accomplished another goal I had been saving for two years for. I guess I'll just start putting a little asside here and there.

Im personally enjoying AH2 too. I havent been online yet, since I felt that it was better to at least get to know your plane better before attempting to go online. Im using the P38L and Im having a blast. Is very easy to take off and land, as long as you learn to bleed speed so that u can deploy your landing gear (at first it took me like 4 fly by's) and the Film Viewer has helped me analize my landing aproachs, and I can even save them to .avi format, which is nice.

Being a Jumpgate pilot Im used to kinda bland graphics, so is not a real biggie for me. But planes do look amazing, and whenever u get a bomber in flames, is a big and nice to see spectacle.

I've even tried a Carrier landing, and invented a new landing trick.. The Titanic

(please dont ask). Ground Vehicles are also interesting, though its kinda boring to drive for some time untill u reach an enemy city (off line sim remember). I think whats best about it... is the ability to have individuals work as turret gunners in your bomber (up to 8 folks can be together) and in GVs u can have I think up to 3 people.

Again, graphics are bland, but it feels kinda nice, because is so hard to go around that u actually enjoy a landing. I will do the 2 weeks trial for sure, but Im not sure if I'll stay, cause as I've told them, Jumpgate is #1 priority right now, but if I can make it into the budget... perhaps I will.

You SOOO do not need to use those silly landing gears! It's much much faster to scrape pavement.

LOL ELP! come play online with us. we have a blast every night. Ikeprof and I have a thing goin on, but you'll have to log in to find out. GV's are a f'in blast. nothing makes you feel better than ripping the wing off an f6f heading right at you with lotsa rockets and bombs. Oh, and ripping a wing or a tail off a 262 is the biggest thrill there is cause you know you just cost someone a ton of perks in my free tiny m16 mgmc.

Last night we were rolling the south coast of the pie-map and everyone was crying where's the goon where's the goon!. Then i opened the door on my m3 i had silently snuck into the nme's base and dropped my troops right into the maproom capturing the base. everyone was like wtf, i didn't see a goon! so i explained that it was me in my trusty half-track GV and they got all happy and stuff. it felt good. then late last night (about 430am central time), they were trying to take a vechcle base with only 2 tanks, so i roll in an m8, drive across the field dodging panzer and t-34 rounds, slamming 37mm AP round home every 5 seconds while goin 63mph, popped the panzer and t-34 after about 10 shots per tank. (m8's gun is kinda small but rapid refire for gv's), I poped thier dar and ord, about faced and hit our base, switched to an m3 w/ troops, captured the base, switched to supplies in the m3, and got it all built back up. went to bed about 530am. the 2 tank guys driving around with me couldn't hit the broad side of a hanger, but were useful distraction cause "wtf is a m8? it's shooting at me but it hit me alot. im not dead. mabey an mg? oh crap there's a panzer! he can kill me in 2 hits!" so im free to do my work.

All in all, it's combat stories like that 24/7. you can always get a story for every sortie. whether it's Ju88's doing torpedo runs on nme ships, b17's 20k up droppin eggs, only to have to use thier guns to blast a pesky 109, or driving your tank in to save the day killin field ack and shore batteries. Yeah the graphics arn't "hardcore fluffy pretty omg powderpuff girls!" but they get the job done extreamly well. There are clouds now. We're trying to get alot of the 200' trees removed though.

I still want my wirbelwind!

(Edit: ELP, despite what you might remember of me in Jumpgate, im not the nascar babbling idiot redneck i was in Jumpgate, that was all a character to inspire conversation and conflict. I think i'ved mentioned nascar twice in almost 4 weeks. So don't expect me to react to those comments over here. I'll proly just laugh and go on with my killin.)
