AH2 - Supply Issue Question

OK, so i kept running into bases from which supplies were/are not available. How does one remedy this? is there some form of economic structure wherein supplies are produced, or is it simply a function of time?

Also, how does one verify that supplies were seccusfully landed at a particular destination? Bombing runs are, i would assume, easy to verify. (things should go boom, after all). But how about supply runs? I failed to see any ticker-tape parades in my honor, though I was, at times, perhaps too high to see them. Still, it seems only appropriate, i'd think.

Anyway, thanks much, and i'll likely see ya'all in the theater again later today..

If i recall correctly, the main reason something is not available is because the thing that makes it available has been bombed. Dropping supplies from nearby repairs the things that have been bombed, thus making them available again.

There are 2 ways...

1 - Bringing supplies from nearby bases as GG stated.
2 - Allow time to pass.... some items may need 2 or more hours to get automatically repaired. You can visit the www.netaces.org and look for the level bombing section. There is explains what each type of city and building does and how much time it will be 'down' untill someone decides to repair it.

Troops/Supplies, Ord, and Radar are down for 2 hours when destroyed. Each cargo drop (Either via C-47 or M3) will knock off 15 minuts. Thus if you had 8 people running cargo and hit right after the base had been bombed, it would go back up instantly. We sometimes when needed resupply bases quickly. 7 or 8 "goons" or m3's make a base go from 0 to full real fast like.

Hangers (read Vehicle, Fighter, and Bomber) are down for 15 minuts. Supplies do not help these buildings.

Towns are down for 15 minuts. Im not sure if supplies help re-up a town or not.

Strat targets (dar, ammo, grunt, city, ect..) i have no clue on seeing as to how i've only blown them up, not repaired. Currently strat's have no use in the game except easy perk points.

A squad such as MACK running nothing but supplies could practically make whichever side they play on (rooks!) pretty much invincible. they could end the base porking (destroying ord and troops to prevent base captures).

Anyways hope i answered your question. feel free to hop on rooks side vox 114 and give us a yell. we're 99% old Jumpgate'ers anyways.

Resupply is also important to keep your base up supplies can be used to fix friendly vehicles and to keep the other supplies fuel and bombs up. Yesterday I was reduced to strafing a carrier group, becuase we did not have any bombs to drop on the ships. Bullets do not do much damage (even 20 millimeter canon rounds) to ships or tanks.

It also comes in handy to have your base radar functioning so you can tell where the bad guys are in the area.

Towns cannot be resupplied. Strategic targets like cities ammo factory troop training and headquarters can I believe.

When a strategic target is taken out it affects the time it takes for the logistics at a base to respawn. So If a Radar is down and your radar factory ( the place that makes the replacement parts) is down and then the city is down ( where they load the trucks to with the parts to resupply) the time is longer than the stated interval. also the convoy that is headed for the base can be hit so that respawns 25mins later. SO logistics do play a part but people do not concentrate on that aspect, except to bomb the base items and maybe the strategic targets. Once in a while they shoot a convoy buttttttttt... that conoy may be headed for your own base that is nearby so you might hurt yourself. I only shoot em if I see they are close and we are very close to tkaing abse.
