I think one or two Balrog guys came to the US server for a while.We were nothing like them, and I killed em whenever they weren't busy FFing to a POS while shouting how great they were.

Balrog only came into being on the WWS server with now only 3 of them still flying, but im sure a lot of their members were active on the EU server in some shape or form, or do you mean the said players coming to US server pre EU decline.

Next question, should the minimum number of players required be scaled by online pilots, total pilots, or just a fixed number like 5? Should you be allowed to have the minimum 5 pilots sign your "guild charter" (squad registration?) but then four of them drop squad so you can keep your squad solo? What if only 3 dropped squad? Why did Ambro say that Liet was bringing his friends back to Jumpgate Classic with him but he didn't invite me? ![]() |

No maximum, definite minimum.
Maximum's just cause problems. So you make friends, get a good squad, reach the max. Someone can't pay for their subscription for a month or stops playing for a couple months. Another one is recruited... then the original member comes back and can't rejoin because it's full. That's just one problem. And as others have said... there are ways around it too. Having SOL Navy A and SOL Navy B, etc. And have everyone on the same comms. Of course, stations and such set to Squad only would still hamper, but only slightly. Minimum should be a fixed number of active pilots. Say 5 or 10. And you if you lose folks, you have to replace them up to that number or you lose your squad charter. This promotes group play by having people be in bigger squads and allows for more group required activities to be put into play. |
