Capturing ships has been a want of mine since I started...but I never did figure out a good way to get both ships back to station. Once this ship is captured, you'd have to request a tow or freighter to come over and suck it up into its cargo bay.

Since it would seem that this would only typically apply to fighter versus non-fighter, I think the idea of cargo ejection as "loot" works better.

Im not sure if I do or not, I guess I'd have to see it in practice. I guess it makes more sense doing it that way that making a tow grab it.

Why only AI ships? What AI ships is there that you could capture?? Isnt it possible RP wise that you could disable a ship to a point that the pilot would eject and leave an intact ship that you could then take?

Because as a player, I don't want to leave loot behind when I die, because it encourages people that want to be jerks to blow up people that want to be left alone solely for the loot.

Imagine how they'd be if they got loot for ganking you. Of course, that's just another reason why level = better is a bad thing in a pvp game.

I think a lot of horde(or whatever your opposing faction is) in wow claim their ganking on the RP of horde vs alliance war...but in the end most are just asses. My lower lvl chars get consistently ganked by 70's because they are bored, or passing thru, or killing everything they find in a low lvl town.
