What about a realistic offer / demand market, driven by players only without npc stations to interfere.
I respect your ideas and based from the Jumpgate Classic economy, they seem viable. I just think EVE's free market system worked better, and would probably need less tuning than a partly fixed market. |

You could be right. I don't know the ins and outs of the EVE econ because i never played it.
I'm still working on part 2 and 3 for this idea and will post them shortly. |

Yeah. More player control of markets, for the win. ====================== Dahalb, you've commented that you don't want players cornering the market. In order to corner a market in Jumpgate Classic takes a lot of work, and someone else can usually make the same stuff you are cornering and undercut you... unless you violently stop them doing so. You can also shoot the person doing the cornering. I would actually LIKE that sort of stuff in the game. More reasons for fighting. |
