And no Im not suggesting there should be custom producers.. its just an example. Just so you don't go off topic.

Get some one in place with some imagination all ( and im pretty sure this is right ) off the FM’s I have seen since the servers became one, have been haul A to B or mine XYZ, NO NO NO and thrice NOOOOOOO.

Just how boring is/was that give us some FM’s with meaning and purpose above all make them FUN.

good point lord. they should be fun and engaging to do.

And Fun can never be obvious. Elements of surprise is what is needed.

Which also means that they control manufacturing for Gun X. The Jumpgate of old might be all happy happy free trade of weapons, armor and missiles between eachother, but additional factionalism between the factions might end up resorting to banning free trade between the factions. Than the only way the other factions will be able to get Gun X is to buy it from those who are willing to illicitly trade.

wow.. and how would you make FM better, by making them fun, including all pilots in one faction if they wish to join without having to Haul or mine, making them mean something for your faction, so people would care if they managed to finish this FM, Making the success/fail dependent on player actions instead of some GM.

pls. I am gladly to criticize as well without making any input.

Easily.

Make different types of FMs. Right now, theres just the FMs for constructing things, but why not have FMs to destroy things as well? If Solrain is at war against Octavius, than Solrain can have an FM to destroy the Octavian CP that manufactures Duelists. There could also be FMs to 'take' specific sectors, or FMs to build/destroy Stations.

I think every major faction station should have it's own FM. For example, Tripoint could have one to scan various anomalies for future-jumpgate stability (and over time, these FMs should lead to more sectors. More in a second). QC's FM could be building a new forward military platform in Ring View, and Corridors FM could be for commods to fill certain economic needs or projects.

Why not have multiple FMs going on at once, and you get to pick and choose which FM you want to work for?

I like GG's idea as well. Nanaki, nothing in GG's post restricts multiple on-going FMs in a faction. Further, your FM to destroy someone else's FM could better be handled as a sabotage or combat mission for the opposing faction rather than as an FM itself.

Eraser: What you are suggesting brings back painful memories of the Injustice fiasco. If you were playing then, you know how I feel about wasted time/effort. If not, well you just missed it then 'cause I don't feel like going back there. Needless to say, that is why I quit working on FMs (not saying I haven't taken an occasional FM for profit).

What I meant is that you have multiple FMs you can select from the same station. Each station shouldnt have it's own FM, the faction should have a list of FMs across all stations, if you get what I mean.

You could take missions to the station of your choice in Jumpgate Classic, I don't see why that would change to be more restrictive in Jumpgate Evolution.

Well, GG's suggestion involved each station having it's own FM from other stations.
