flight phsyics in Jumpgate Evolution.
guessing from the recent review of the new community manager, they say that the flight eninge may be not like Jumpgate Classic.
so what will the flighe engine look like? i would like to suggest, a mix between arcade and newton phsyics. the arcade attempt phsyics where a ship is flying @ full speed, ship turns and goes in that direction in a second or two. the newton part is where you cut yo throttle and wherever you turn that ship, you drift in the same direction. |

From what we understand the flight engine will be the same with addition of lateral thrusters. This should make for more newtonion flying not less as were adding another vector to the calculation. Oh yeah, there's also the noob flight mode. Here's hoping thats all it is.

It seemed to me that the people who met with Scorch in Australia said the flight was pretty much standard Jumpgate flight when they turned off the dampeners. I'm more interested in how quickly or slowly the dampeners can be toggled. There may be some complex manuevers or fast stops/speed docks made possible with the new addition.

I guess people will have to learn to deal with two types of maneuverability in there opponents now.

For those who cant be bothered trolling, DANCER is the engine. The physics will be the same as Jumpgate Classic.
