If they did it like my MT mission concept it could work. You put in an order for an engine with a "create mission option" and KTRI sends out a banner to what ever station HAS the engine "Hauling/Transport/Cargo mission available to Station X" and go from there. Player at Station Y pulls up mission, sees what it is and who it's for, F4's them, they cut a deal and then it's simple transport/hauling mission with the buyer having to post the agreed purchase price before the hauler ever launches. Doesn't have to be for just a single item. Biggest thing is, the banner message would only show up at stations (perhaps even POS?) that actually HAVE the item(s) instead of spamming the whole darn universe.
